I hand wrap each truffle in green cellophane and then tie them with a piece of hemp before gently nestling the package into its labeled box. These final preparations give me one last time to reflect on all that I’ve been able to put into each truffle and how lucky I am to have been called by these plants and the Fae to do this. The packaging also ends up being great insulation from both shock and heat. My hope is that the time it takes to unpack each truffle might give each of you that same space to slow down and reflect on what is in your hand and start opening yourself more to that union with the plant spirits that is soon to follow.
