Walking in Two Worlds

If you try a truffle on BART (public transportation) or during other busy activities which make you feel like you lost the 'feel' ..and you probs already know this, but none the less...just use it as an exercise in mindfulness to stay present in both places at the same time. the truffles are great at pulling you back to them if you discover you temporarily lost them. You always have to meet them half way. They will only give in proportion to what we put in, so when I eat a truffle and have to work and/or run errands I stay mindful and every time I catch my awareness of the truffle has slipped I just go back there and the immersion is non jarring, the truffle is waiting for me to come back & I have gotten some of my deepest and most profound insights at times like this. Its a great way to sharpen your skills at being functional in two worlds at once. 😊
...and there will be some days where the first 15 to 20 minutes after eating a truffle leaves you with a powerful and very noticeable feeling of expansion but after that initial 15-20 minutes your mind will start to acclimate to that feeling...the expansion is still there and just as strong, but I find it actually gets easier for me to do the deeper work once the acclimation happens." Something I shared with a friend and thought it was worth repeating. ;)
